Lou Costello were an American comedy duo whose work in radio, film and television made them the most popular comedy team during the 1940’s. Beginning in 1952, their half-hour television series “The Abbott and Costello Show” was loosely based on the duo’s radio series and cast them as unemployed layabouts. This remarkable 5-disc box set contains all 26 episodes of the first season (1952-1953), complete and unedited, digitally remastered and looking better than ever.
